Fernanda Pellegrini was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After completing her photography diploma in Buenos Aires, she moved to Caracas, Venezuela, where she taught at the Roberto Mata School of Photography.
While in Venezuela she exhibited her work Una Cualquiera in Caracas and Valencia,and she collaborated with photographers Francesco Spotorno, Ricardo Peņa, Leo Alvarez, and Roberto Mata. In addition, she collaborated on a research project on poverty in Venezuela led by the Catholic University. Twenty of her photographs were published in the result of that research, the book Detras de la Pobreza.
She is currently living in Miami and is working on a series of photographs on immigration in South Florida, and various freelance projects, including volunteer photography for the Miami Performing Arts Center.
